We are primarily created to encourage and support community groups to develop a wide range of physical activity projects in the London borough of Haringey.
The Health for Haringey project helps people to change their lifestyle and increase their physical activity. This could be through improved mobility, knowledge and confidence. It will increase people's knowledge of local services and encourage them to provide feedback to service providers. Long-term participation in phase 2 could magnify these benefits by encouraging regular exercise and the formation of social networks amongst people who would otherwise be sedentary and/or socially isolated.
